Milomeris Waterfalls

The Milomeri waterfall is located between platres and pera pedi villages, in the southeastern area of platres ,one kilometre from the begining of the nature trail leading to the waterfall.

The water of Milomeri falls from height of 15 metres and is one of the highest natural waterfalls on the island.

according the the tradition the fall took this name from the word "milos"which means moist and the word "meros"which means area.It is a place where the sun never sees it and thats why is always wet.
